In June 2019, the new office of the Bundesvereinigung Deutscher Apothekerverbände e. V. ABDA was opened in Berlin. The Mendelssohn Palace, where the ABDA office was previously located, had become too small for the approximately 100 employees and was also extremely dilapidated.
The building presents itself to the employees and visitors with bright, open rooms, lots of glass and a lighting concept harmoniously matched to the architecture. A highlight in the conference rooms are the luminaires, which represent the molecular structures of caffeine, penicillin, theobromine, dopamine and serotonin. The special designs are made of pendant light lines from Lightnet's Matric series.
